One report puts OpenRouter's weekly volume at 164.0 trillion tokens for the week of October 12, 2026. Another, dated October 17, has the complete week beginning October 5 at 167.65 trillion. Those are the freshest weekly readings in the research, and they are reports, not the live chart. The measure that decides this is the sum of the weekly totals shown in OpenRouter's Top Models chart for the weeks of September 28, October 5, October 12 and October 19. The rankings page was read on October 21 and shows usage data through October 20. It does not display those weekly totals, so the figure this question turns on is not yet published there. Nothing cited from elsewhere is that figure. The forecast leans against a total inside 675T to 725T. Two of the four weeks are reported near 164T to 168T. Four weeks at that pace would come to roughly 656T to 671T, a little under the 675T floor, though not by a wide margin. The September 28 and October 19 weeks have no totals in the supplied research, and the chart keeps updating until the week of October 26 first appears. So a total near the floor is still plausible.
